We know that the government does not create jobs, but the government can and should create policy to assist in prompting economic freedom and a conducive climate for growth.

An example of this is when last year Steve helped lead the Senate in passing the Arizona Competes package (aka "The Jobs Bill') which moved Arizona from 48th in the nation in job growth to recently 4th. Additionally, Arizona is now #1 in the nation in start-up businesses! (Steve also helped lead the charge in Arizona having a structurally balanced budget with a $600 million+ surplus).

It is legislation like this that Steve will continue to advance in order to continue to boost Arizona's economy and to help to bring more jobs to the state is something Steve works towards everyday.
